Meet Dr. Chandni Mahindra
Education and Experience
Dr. Mahindra earned her dental degree from the University of Illinois in Chicago. Since graduating, Dr. Mahindra has gained invaluable experience in private practice in Houston, TX. She then went on to own her own practice in Maine. Dr. Mahindra relocated to Florida to be closer to friends and family. She has remained dedicated to expanding her knowledge and expertise in many areas of dentistry for better patient results.
Together with her team, Dr. Mahindra provides comprehensive general, cosmetic, surgical and restorative dental care to patients of all ages at DeLand Smiles.

A Message from Dr. Mahindra
It is a great time to be a part of dentistry. Combining true and tried fundamentals with all the advanced technology available today has allowed us to excel in this field. We offer surgical, conservative and preventative treatments, Oral sedation for our apprehensive patients, and simplified education to help our patients understand all available treatment options. Patient’s should not have to fear visiting the dentist due to past traumas. We focus on cognitive behavioral changes by listening and gearing treatment where patients have a say in their treatment options. We provide patient focused care for that reason.
Every patient who walks through our doors is an individual with their unique needs and experiences. We keep that as our focus. My team has the training, education, and technology to offer every patient the best of everything dentistry has to offer.”
I enjoy dentistry and I enjoy changing lives in a positive way through dentistry. I look at dental care as a huge part of the systemic well-being of an individual.
